Frequently Asked Questions
How are prices set? While we don’t publicize pricing formulas, we are happy to discuss pricing factors. Our services are labor intensive, so our expenses are most related to hours worked. Since we work inside peoples' homes and in many peoples' confidential workplaces, we do everything we can to find, and keep for many years, employees that we can trust in every way. Excellent employees, the kind that you want in your homes, require good wages. Good wages, factored with payroll taxes, liability and worker insurance, all with rates predicated on wages, cause our cost of business to be what it is. Our cost is the cost of doing business right. How early do you start? In residential neighborhoods, we start (quietly) at about 7:30 a.m. What’s in the soap? Our soaps are essentially the same as you will find in a bottle of Palmolive or Dawn. If allergies or fragrance sensitivities are a concern, let us know and we will use your cleaning solutions instead. Do you spray windows? We never spray the windows. Our method is old-fashioned; we gently scrub the window with a mildly soapy brush, remove the solution with water, and wipe the windowsill clean. Our final touch is to use a dry cloth to detail the edges of the window so that there is no gray band of dry soapy water around the pane. The result is a perfectly clean window! |

How much water is used? Very little when
cleaning windows. A couple of gallons will keep a window
cleaner busy for at least a day. Screen and awning cleaning
require running water, so we try to conserve in those areas.
Blind cleaning is done on our premises. Large tanks of water
are used to clean hundreds of screens.
