LightStream Gutter Cleaning

LightStream serves residential gutter cleaning customers from Alameda, Oakland, Piedmont, Orinda, Lafayette, Moraga, Berkeley, Kensington, Emeryville, El Cerrito, Albany, and Richmond. LightStream also provides gutter cleaning service to property managers and homeowner associations (HOAs) throughout Northern California and Nevada.

Gutter cleaning! Yuck! That’s what everyone says, we know. And its simply something that has to be done. We all know the damage a neglected rain gutter or plugged downspout can do. Time and again we hear the stories of flooded dining rooms, damaged technical equipment, dry-rot, and so on. Its dirty work, we know. We find all manner of dead things and odd things in gutters. What’s more, it is dangerous work.

We are happy to help. From the bungalow in Berkeley, to the suburban Homeowner Associations with hundreds of homes, to the many apartment buildings in our region, we are prepared every Fall and Winter to tackle this job that no one wants to do.

Our methods vary: sometimes we use an old-fashioned gutter scoop to get the gunk, and sometimes, especially when it’s safer, we blast out the debris with an airstream 200 mph in speed. The process always includes cleaning up and disposing of gutter debris, as well as checking the downspouts for positive flow.

When should you call us? We don’t really know. Our gutter season begins in September and ends in mid-February. The best way to think is defensively. Are you gutters and downspouts clogged? If so, call us now. If they’re flowing, but you want them cleaned because you know its about time, watch your trees. When most of the leaves are down, then give us a call!
